Five horizontal stripes of light blue, pink, white, pink and light blue, designed by Monica Helms in 1999. The blue and pink represent the traditional colours for boys and girls and the white stripe represents those who are non-binary or transitioning. It is a popular choice for Pride Month events in June, Transgender Day of Visibility on 31 March, Transgender Day of Remembrance on 20 November, Pride parades, LGBTQ+ venues and youth groups, and inclusive workplace and school displays. The flag is made from durable polyester and printed in vivid colours, and it is finished with metal eyelets along the hoist edge so it can be hung from a pole, wall, fence, tent or gazebo, or simply waved by hand at matches and parades.
