The Flagtex Saint Lucia Flag is a small national flag measuring 18 x 12 inches (approximately 45 x 30 cm). A cerulean blue field bearing a gold triangle set in front of a larger black triangle edged in white. The blue represents the sky and the Caribbean Sea, the gold stands for sunshine and prosperity, and the black and white triangles depict the twin Pitons and the harmony between the island's peoples. It is a popular choice for Independence Day on 22 February, Saint Lucia Carnival in July, the Saint Lucia Jazz Festival in May, West Indies cricket matches, Caribbean community events in the UK and Notting Hill Carnival. The flag is made from durable polyester and printed in vivid colours, and it is finished with metal eyelets along the hoist edge so it can be hung from a pole, wall, fence, tent or gazebo, or simply waved by hand at matches and parades. At this compact size it suits places where a full-size flag would be too large, such as a bedroom, bar, office, classroom, boat, caravan, market stall or garden. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it is lightweight and easy to fold, packs flat for travel and storage, and can be put up or taken down in seconds. The flag is supplied on its own and does not include a pole. To keep the colours bright, hand wash in cool water, hang to dry and avoid tumble drying or ironing directly over the print.
