Feed rate (recommended): ordinary steel (copper aluminium alloy): 6-15m/min; hard steel: 5-10m/min; stainless steel: 2-7m/min; cast iron: 8-10m/min. The higher the hardness, the slower the speed. Fast speed and low torque; slow speed and high torque. When tapping plastic, add lubricating coolant. For steel, motor oil is generally used, and vegetable oil is used for high requirements. Use No. 30 motor oil for stainless steel.
