When unlit, the hand-cut glass tiles display distinct red, blue, yellow, and green hues against a clear background, and when illuminated, it casts a vibrant, kaleidoscopic glow across the room. The exact mosaic pattern in the photo cannot be reproduced, so the lamp you receive is the most unique lamp in the world. How it's made: First, master artisans meticulously hand-cut quality natural glass into precise diamond and square shapes, selecting vibrant red, blue, yellow, and green pieces for this specific design. Next, these individual glass pieces are carefully arranged one by one onto the blown glass globe, creating the intricate starburst pattern before being secured with a specialized traditional plaster. Once the plaster sets, the globe is thoroughly cleaned and polished, revealing the brilliant, saturated jewel tones of the natural glass that will project beautifully when lit. Finally, the completed mosaic globe is fitted to its elegant, hand-aged antique brass swan-neck base, wired for safety, and paired with an energy-efficient LED bulb. Versatile by design.
