How it's made: First, skilled artisans hand-cut sheets of premium natural glass into precise diamond and square shapes, selecting clear and pristine white tones to create the elegant foundation of the design. Next, these individual glass pieces and delicate glass beads are carefully arranged by hand onto the blown glass globe, forming the classic star motif with meticulous precision. The globe is then treated with a specialized plaster to set the mosaic, which is meticulously polished by hand to reveal the crisp, brilliant saturation of the white and clear glass. Finally, the finished mosaic globe is suspended from our signature hand-aged antique brass swan-neck stand, complete with an energy-efficient E14 LED bulb for immediate use. Versatile by design.
