- SWEET CORN AMAIZE F1 SEEDS: Decades in development for deliciously sweet kernels and an improved succulent, crunchy texture. Possibly the best sweet corn you will ever taste.
- SOW: March to May, HARVEST: August to September, SEEDS: 20 Approx.
- FOR INDOOR SOWING: WHEN – March to May. WHERE - In 7.5cm pots of seed compost. HOW - Sow singly, cover with 1.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15℃. Seedlings appear 7-21 days. CARE - Remove cover when seedlings appear. Stand outside for a few days late May (avoid frosts). Transplant 40cm apart in each direction, in squares to help pollination. Keep moist and weed free. HARVEST – August to September.
- FOR OUTDOOR SOWING: WHEN – May. WHERE - In a prepared seed bed in growing position. HOW - Sow 1-2 seeds together with 40cm between groups. Cover with 1.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. CARE - Thin to one strong seedling per group. HARVEST – August to September.
- NOTE: Not genetically modified. For best quality grow isolated from other corns, especially 'supersweet' types.
