Crown Felting needles- all three barbs are at the tip These felting needles are suitable for using with or without a handle or holder. 46 Gauge Crown Triangular Felting Needles (tip coloured white) 42 Gauge Crown Triangular Felting Needles (tip coloured yellow) 40 Gauge Crown Triangular Felting Needles (tip coloured brown) 38 Gauge Crown Triangular Felting Needles (tip coloured pink) All crown needles have 1 barb each side, all at the same level approx 3mm from the tip. (3 barbs total) The needles are 3" in length. The needles are newly cut, very sharp and fast to root or felt with. Care needs to be taken when using these needles as they are sharp, children under 16 should be supervised when using them. The needles have been designed with increased flexibility to reduce breakage. *Felting needles are brittle, and are therefore easily broken. To reduce breakages use the needle in a straight in, straight out motion. The needle is best not bent, wiggled or put under a lot of pressure. As a general rule if the needle will not enter a surface with ease do not force it.
