- 6542 High Speed Steel Tap: Offer high hardness, good toughness, wear resistance, and excellent cutting performance. Uncoated taps feature just the base substrate without any additional coatings, great for a wide range of applications.
- Tips: Machine taps are used with tapping, drilling, automatic or milling machines. Drill the holes with a twist drill bit first, then tap with a thread tap. The tapping angle should be 90 degrees vertical and stable. NOT recommended for hand and electric drill tapping.
