The robust tool is suitable for all common industrial materials, such as non-alloyed and low-alloyed steels up to 800 N/mm² strength, malleable cast iron and non-ferrous metals. The workpiece is clamped upwards into a vice with the side to obtain the thread. Apply the thread-cutting die and turn it until the desired thread length is achieved. It is recommended to turn the die back briefly in between so that the chips break, fall out and the threads do not clog. Lubrication with cutting oil is recommended.
