Difficulty: Easy Presoak: Optional Germination: 2-3 days Black out time: 2-4 days Time to harvest: 8-12 days Height: 3-6cm Flavour: Mild and slightly sweet, with a subtle nutty taste Nutrients: Vitamins A, C & K, with Calcium, Potassium & Iron Grow as a microgreen Soak seeds for 4-6 hours before sowing and then drain. Sow your seeds directly onto a moistened growing medium (3-5cm deep) and lightly mist the seeds with water. Place the seeded tray into a second tray without drainage holes. This will allow you to bottom water the tray. Cover with another tray on top to stop light getting in. After day 2-4, remove the cover and place in a well-lit location. When watering the seedlings, keep using the bottom tray. Harvest between 8-12 days or when the seedlings are 3-6cm tall. Cut the stems above the soil line with a knife or scissors. Grow as a sprouting Clean and sterilise the sprouter. Put the seeds in the sprouter and cover with room temperature water Soak the seeds for 6-8 hours. Drain all of the water until the seeds are damp. Place the seeds in the sprouter and cover with a lid Make sure to rinse the seeds 2-3 times a day until harvesting around days 5-6.
