Directions 1. Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the tampon. 2. Unwrap the tampon. 3. Hold the tampon by the applicator or the string (depending on the type). 4. Find a comfortable position, either sitting on the toilet or standing. 5. Gently insert the tampon into the vagina, pointing it towards the lower back. 6. Push the tampon in until it is comfortable and you can no longer feel the applicator or the tampon's end. 7. Remove the applicator (if present) and dispose of it properly. 8.
