About this item
- Premium Petit Pois Variety: A top-quality shelling pea from Provence, producing small, sweet peas with superb flavour. Ideal for fresh eating, freezing, and classic Italian dishes.
- Compact, Easy-Grow Plants: Plants grow to around 40cm, making them perfect for beds, borders, small gardens, raised beds, and allotments. No tall supports required.
- Heavy Cropping Pods: Each plant produces 7–9cm pods, each packed with 7–8 tender peas. Fantastic yields throughout the season from spring into early summer. Peas naturally fix nitrogen into the soil, improving fertility for future crops—excellent for crop rotation.
- Sow Early for Best Results: Peas can be sown outdoors from February to May, placing seeds 5cm deep in well-drained soil and spacing rows for good airflow. Plants grow compact and sturdy, producing sweet, tender petit pois in long pods. Keep the soil moist, support lightly if needed, and harvest from April to July when pods are full and bright green for the best flavour. SEEDS: 40 Approx.
- Seed Quality: Produced by a historic Italian seed house with over 240 years of excellence. Seeds are packed in protective, recyclable packets to preserve freshness and germination quality – bringing authentic Italian growing to your garden.
