Product description
Dormer's E003 machine tap has a steam tempered finish so work piece material will not stick to the cutting edges of the tool. The premium powder metal High Speed cobalt used in manufacture gives a superior performance and a longer tool life. The tap is designed for efficient threading of metric coarse blind holes, with a spiral flute. The E003 conforms to the International Standards Organisation and can be used to produce threads in a number of materials including steels, stainless steel and aluminium.
