Product description With this Shiba Inu from the BlueBrixx Pro range, you can get one of the most famous Japanese dog breeds on the shelf as a miniature model. It is built from diamond blocks, i.e. from significantly smaller building blocks than in the usual standard format. For a dog with such characteristic proportions, this pays off: only the fine grid makes the soft transitions between red top coat and the bright areas possible. The Shiba is an ancient, originally Japanese breed and is run by the FCI under standard number 257 in the group of lace and dogs of the primeval type. The word Shiba refers to something small, i.e. a small dog. Its natural habitat was the mountainous area on the Japanese Sea, where it was used to hunt small game and birds. Today it is mainly known as a companion dog, and in Japan the breed is considered a natural monument. A detail that breed connoisseurs immediately recognise is neatly implemented in the model: Urajiro. In the breed standard, the whitish hair is called on the side of the catch and on the cheeks, under the catch, on the throat, chest and stomach, on the bottom of the rod and on the inside of the limbs. All approved colours of the Shiba must have this drawing, and this change between red fur and bright parts gives the model its authentic face. In addition, there are the other distinguishing features of the breed: the upright, pointed ears, the compact, muscular physique and the highly worn, thick rod that rolls over the back.
