Product description If a bird looks like painted, then this one: the gold pheasant is one of the most colourful pheasants ever, and this is exactly the reason why the motif wears so well as a model. This set from the BlueBrixx Pro range transforms the tap in its entire length, from the golden yellow head to the wide cantilever tail. Important to the format: the model consists of diamond blocks, i.e. significantly smaller building blocks than in standard format. These cannot be combined with ordinary clamping blocks, but allow a much finer resolution. This set lives exactly from this, because all the details are completely made of stones and not printed: the red plumage, the blue and green parts on the back and wings, the golden hood and the banded drawing of the tail feathers are created solely by colour choice and construction. The model bears the scientific name Chrysolophus pictus and belongs to the family of pheasant as a chicken bird. The genus name comes from ancient Greek and means "with golden crep", while "pictus" in Latin stands for "painted". The species is native to central China, where it inhabits subtropical mountain forests up to about 2500 metres high and lives quite hidden there. The rooster reaches about 100 cm in length, most of which is due to the tail, while the hen is discreetly dyed beige-brown. With 1444 building blocks, a construction is created that requires peace and accuracy and delivers an unusually elegant result.
