Product description Mudbar Plus cream is ideal for equine skin that's distressed by the elements, whether that be rain or shine. Regular wetting of horses’ coats and skin (due to rain or mud exposure, sweat or even excess shampooing) can affect the skin’s condition. Legs and feet are particularly at risk when fields become water logged in the winter and spring. In the summer months, skin can become cracked, dry, and sensitive to sunlight. Mudbar Plus has been around for 10+ years but the formula has been upgraded for 2025, making the cream even more effective, long lasting and able to maintain the skin’s condition, even with the extremely wet winters we now seem to be experiencing. This new formula has been approved by our own equine vet practice who now recommend and sell it to their customers. With regular use, significant improvements in your horse's skin condition can be seen within a week. Mudbar Plus is an effective and fast-acting solution for maintaining your horse's skin health. Please Note: Appearance may vary. Ingredients benzyl benzoate, allantoin, benzyl alcohol, ionic silver, essential oils Directions Always patch test first, on an inconspicuous area such as the armpit. Before first use on the target area, remove as much mud as possible by very gently brushing. If necessary, wash the area with warm salty water or Biteback's Sweatbuster. Thoroughly dry, ideally finishing with a drying powder such as Biteback's Flowers and Zinc before applying the cream. Avoid frequent wetting after this first application. Continue to apply the cream twice a day to target areas. A clear difference should be seen within a week.
