Product description Farriers Stop Itch Shampoo has been especially formulated to help relieve itching and rubbing in horses. The main reason for these symptoms is down to the saliva of the biting parasite. These range from fleas, ticks, midges and lice. Can also help with Bot eggs. The Shampoo works by coming into contact with the parasites exoskelton, entering the central nervous system and leading to the inability for them to function. The parasite ends up dropping off the host. It also helps to wash off any eggs which maybe present. With added peppermint essential oil, this helps to sooth and calm red, irritated skin. Ingredients Peppermint essential Oils Biosect Directions Wet the area you wish to treat. This can be to specific area or the entire horse. Wearing gloves, apply the shampoo to the affected area, working into a lather, making sure you are in contact with the skin. Pay particular attention to the Mane, Rump and Dock of the tail leave for approximately 5 minutes and wash off Repeat weekly if needed.
