• A BAER hand tap set is 3-piece set (taper, intermediate tap, bottoming tap), manufactured according to DIN 352 and for cutting a metric ISO standard thread. Taper tap (1 ring on the shaft) shape A, cut: 5-6 speeds, decreases 65% of the threaded profile / intermediate tap (2 rings on the shaft) shape D, cut: 3-4 speeds, decreases 85% of the threaded profile / bottoming tap (no ring on the shaft) form C, cut: 2-3 speeds, decreases 100% of the thread profile
• Cutting die – BAER dies are used to produce metric external threads with round outer profile. These BAER die made of high-performance high-speed steel HSS is suitable for normal applications for different materials with a strength of up to 800 N/mm². These include the following materials: General structural steels, automatic steels, insert steels, non-alloy tempered steels, pure copper, low-alloy copper and copper-tin alloy (bronze) short chipping, as well as plastics.
