About this item
- **IPX6 Waterproof Performance (4000-6000 Series):** Engineered for the harshest marine environments, the AKLS 4000/5000/6000 models feature professional IPX6-rated waterproofing. This multi-layer sealing system protects the core internal components from salt spray, waves, and accidental submersions, ensuring peak performance season after season.
- **Hybrid Aluminum Body & Carbon Rotor:** Engineered for elite performance, the AKLS combines a rigid, high-pressure die-cast aluminum alloy frame with a cutting-edge carbon fiber rotor. This hybrid chassis completely eliminates body flex under heavy loads while keeping the overall weight of the 5000 model to an ultra-light 361g (12.7 oz) to prevent all-day wrist fatigue.
- **30.9Lbs Max Drag & 8+1 Sealed Bearings:** Dominate trophy fish with 30.9Lbs (14Kg) of smooth, consistent drag power. Equipped with 8+1 double-sealed stainless steel ball bearings, this reel is effectively shielded against water, salt, and dust, significantly reducing maintenance needs and extending service life in demanding environments.
- **6.2:1 High-Speed Precision Retrieval:** Leave no slack in the line. Featuring a lightning-fast 6.2:1 gear ratio, the AKLS delivers rapid line pickup, allowing you to control reaction baits, pick up slack instantly after a long cast, and steer hard-fighting fish away from heavy cover with ease.
- **Precision-Carved Aluminum Drive Gear:** Experience silky-smooth operation and relentless durability. The heart of the AKLS is a premium, CNC-machined aluminum drive gear that ensures flawless teeth engagement, optimized force distribution, and zero back-play, outlasting standard zinc-alloy gears by double.

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
