About this item
- **Hybrid Aluminum Body & Carbon Rotor:** Engineered for elite performance, the AKLS combines a rigid, high-pressure die-cast aluminum alloy frame with a cutting-edge carbon fiber rotor. This hybrid chassis completely eliminates body flex under heavy loads while keeping the overall weight of the 2500 model to an ultra-light 232g (8.18 oz) to prevent all-day wrist fatigue.
- **Shallow Spool Engineered for Distance:** Maximize your casting potential. The specialized CNC aluminum shallow spool minimizes line friction and prevents thin braided or fluorocarbon lines from burying into themselves. Line peels off smoothly and effortlessly, significantly increasing your casting distance and accuracy for finesse tactics.
- **6.0:1 High-Speed Precision Retrieval:** Leave no slack in the line. Featuring a lightning-fast 6.0:1 gear ratio, the AKLS delivers rapid line pickup, allowing you to control reaction baits, pick up slack instantly after a long cast, and steer hard-fighting fish away from heavy cover with ease.
- **Precision-Carved Aluminum Drive Gear:** Experience silky-smooth operation and relentless durability. The heart of the AKLS is a premium, CNC-machined aluminum drive gear that ensures flawless teeth engagement, optimized force distribution, and zero back-play, outlasting standard zinc-alloy gears by double.
- **Finesse Power & Performance:** Tailored for the modern angler, this reel balances featherlight handling with heavy-duty internal strength. Perfect for targeting Bass, Walleye, Trout, and inshore species, the AKLS 2500 delivers the perfect blend of micro-finesse sensitivity and elite stopping power.
