XPS Coving Cornice WM22 Sample Piece 20cm, Paintable Ceiling Moulding

• SEE THE PROFILE BEFORE YOU ORDER - A short offcut lets you hold the shape against your own ceiling and judge the depth and projection in your room lighting before buying full lengths
• USEFUL WHEN COMPARING DESIGNS - Order alongside other profiles to see which outline suits your ceiling height and skirting, rather than choosing from photographs alone
• PAINTABLE SMOOTH FINISH - The closed white surface takes water-based emulsion directly, so you can test your chosen ceiling or wall shade on the offcut before committing to a full room
• LONG-LASTING QUALITY - Moisture-resistant extruded polystyrene holds its shape in kitchens, bathrooms and hallways without warping or crumbling, keeping the profile crisp year after year
• SUPPLIED AS A SINGLE 20CM PIECE - You receive one 20cm offcut of this profile, while full 2 metre lengths and matching external and internal corners are ordered as separate options

Coving is difficult to judge from a photograph. A profile that looks delicate on screen can sit heavier than expected once it is on a real ceiling, and depth matters more than shape in a room with limited height. Ordering a full quantity and hoping is an expensive way to find out. This sample piece is a short offcut of the same profile, in the same material and the same white finish as the full lengths. Hold it up where it will actually go, step back to the door and look at it in your own daylight and in the evening under your own lights. The projection down the wall and out across the ceiling is the thing to watch, because that is what changes how high a room feels. It is also the simplest way to compare. Order a sample of two or three WOLDECOR profiles, hold them side by side against your ceiling and see which outline suits your room, your skirting and your door architrave. Choosing between designs takes a minute in the room and a long time from a screen. The surface is closed and smooth and takes water-based emulsion directly, so you can also use the sample as a paint test. Try your ceiling shade on it, or the wall colour, or a deeper contrasting tone, and decide how you want the finished line to read before you commit to a whole room. This listing is for a single short sample piece and is not intended for installation. Once you have decided, full 2 metre lengths, external corners and internal corners are available as separate options, so you can order the exact quantity your room needs from the same WOLDECOR range.
