Red Martingale Collar for Dogs with Half-Check Design for Training Walks

• Limited-Slip Safety: This collar tightens only to a preset point when tension occurs, distributing pressure evenly around the neck. The controlled closure helps discourage pulling behaviour whilst allowing comfortable breathing throughout the walk.
• Escape-Resistant Design: The two-loop construction creates a secure fit that tightens slightly if your dog reverses or backs out. Particularly useful for nervous dogs, sighthounds, or breeds with narrow heads that may slip standard buckle collars.
• Durable Woven Construction: Crafted from densely woven nylon webbing with reinforced stitching at stress points. The metal slide and welded D-ring provide secure lead connection for consistent daily use across various walking environments.
• High Visibility Finish: The bright webbing improves visibility during early morning or evening walks. The smooth webbing surface resists dirt accumulation and can be wiped clean after muddy outdoor sessions, maintaining appearance over time.
• Adjustable Sizing: Measure your dog's neck at the widest point and add two inches to determine fit. The collar adjusts along the length to accommodate growth or seasonal coat changes. Suitable for small to large breeds when correctly sized.

Product description This martingale collar is designed for small dogs who need gentle guidance during walks. Unlike standard flat collars that can slip over a dog's head or cause sudden pressure, this limited-slip collar tightens gradually when your dog pulls, then loosens immediately when they return to your side. The martingale mechanism works through a simple loop system. When your dog walks calmly, the collar sits loosely around their neck. If they lunge or pull ahead, the collar tightens just enough to get their attention in a controlled manner. This makes it particularly useful for training young puppies or dogs who are learning to walk on a lead. The collar is made from durable woven nylon that holds up to daily use. The metal D-ring provides a secure attachment point for your lead, and the adjustable design means you can modify the fit as needed. Small dogs with narrow heads, such as Whippets or young puppies, benefit from the martingale style because it helps prevent them from backing out of the collar during walks. You can use this collar for training sessions in the park, everyday walks around your neighbourhood, or when visiting new places where your dog might feel excited or nervous. The lightweight construction means they can wear it comfortably for extended periods. To fit the collar properly, measure your dog's neck and adjust the strap so the collar sits snugly but not tight when relaxed. When the collar tightens during a pull, it should not close completely around the neck. This gives you control while keeping your dog safe and comfortable. Directions Not Applicabl
