Premier Seeds Direct - Tulip Bulbs (Tulip Sugar Plum Fairy Mix, Darwin Hybrid, 10)

• BEAUTIFUL FLOWER BULBS - Tulip ‘Sugar Plum Fairy’ is a Darwin Hybrid mix that combines four carefully selected tulips in a soft blend of apricot, lavender and pink shades. This mix includes ‘Apricot Pride’, ‘Salmon Impression’, ‘Silver Cloud’ and ‘Mystic van Eijk’.
• GROW YOUR OWN TULIPS - Flowering in late spring, these tulips reach a height of around 40–55 cm and come in a mix of beautiful mix of pastel colours. With strong stems and full, layered petals, they are well-suited to borders, containers, and cutting.
• MULTIPLE YEARS OF FLOWERS - After flowering, deadhead spent blooms to redirect energy back into the bulb and allow foliage to die back naturally before removing it to help replenish nutrients for next year’s growth.
• QUALITY FLOWER BULBS - Sourced from professional growers, our bulbs have undergone thorough, multi-stage quality checks and grading, and are stored in optimal conditions.

Plant between September-November, before the ground freezes. Loosen the soil to a depth of around 30cm and mix in organic matter to improve the drainage and soil quality. Use a hand trowel or bulb planter and dig a hole which is double the depth of the bulb. Place the bulb with the pointed end facing upwards. Gently cover the bulb and lightly compress the soil. Use a fertiliser in early spring, when new growth appears to support healthy blooms.
