1. The ideal location for planting is in your garden with good drainage and full sun. To find a location with good drainage, you can look at where in the garden the rain dries up fastest. If there is no such obvious location, plant the lilies on a slope and let gravity do the work of draining. Find a location that gets at least half a day of sun. If lilies stay in the shade for too long, they will grow towards the sun, forming a significant tilt. Ideally, they will get a full day of sun. 2. Lilies love the sun, but they prefer to stay cool in the summer. Dig a hole 10-15 cm deep, remember that the deeper the better - this will not only protect the lilies through the possible hot summer, but also provide good support for the flower stems. If you consider that the weather will get colder later, add a layer of mulch on the surface of the plant to protect the plant's tender branches. The mulch can also protect the tender branches from being eaten by insects. 3. You don't need a lot of water, just water when you need it, such as when the planting site seems dry.
