The removable stainless steel rack raises food above the base while drippings collect below for basting, gravy and pan sauces. Its depth also leaves room for roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, stuffing balls and pigs in blankets. Remove the rack to prepare beef casserole, sausage traybake, dauphinoise potatoes, vegetable gratin, baked rice, brownies, apple crumble or bread-and-butter pudding. The lightweight aluminium body heats quickly and is easier to lift than cast iron. Its cream ceramic surface is made without PFOA or PFOS and supports easier release when used with the oil or lining specified by your recipe.
