- โ Easy Installation โ First position the tube insert at the end of the tube.For tubes with a wall thickness of 1.2โ1.5 mm, simply press the tube insert in by hand. For tubes with a wall thickness of 1.6โ2.0 mm, gently tap the tube insert in using a rubber mallet. For the best fit, please check the tube dimensions and wall thickness before installation. Note: If the external dimensions of the tube exactly match the size of the ribbed tube insert and the insert cannot be fitted even with gentle tapping using a rubber mallet, the ribs on all four sides can be carefully trimmed with a utility knife or sharp knife until the insert fits securely into the tube.
