Verdant Living Everest Carex Ornamental Grass - Decorative Evergreen Perennial Sedge for Beds, Borders, Containers & Gardens. 1x Large, Well Established 2L Rootball. Outdoor Garden Ready & Peat Free

• VARIEGATED ORNAMENTAL GRASS FOR YEAR‑ROUND CONTRAST – Carex ‘Everest’ is a compact, evergreen Japanese sedge admired for its clean, white-edged foliage & refined appearance. Each slender, dark green blade is trimmed with crisp silver-white margins, creating a cool, calming effect in shaded borders or modern garden schemes. Forming dense, symmetrical clumps around 30–45 cm tall & wide, this elegant & highly decorative grass is perfect for containers, edging paths, or underplanting shrubs.
• EXTRA-LARGE, HEALTHY & WELL-ESTABLISHED 2L ROOTBALL – Many shop-bought plants have small, underdeveloped roots that struggle to adapt after transplanting, often leading to slow growth or poor performance. Verdant Living Carex Grass is professionally grown in premium peat-free compost & supplied as a strong, healthy, well-rooted 2-litre (17cm) plant. We deliver each plant to you at just the right stage—ready to establish quickly in your garden soil & bloom beautifully when its season arrives.
• NURSERY FRESH & OUTDOOR GARDEN READY - Verdant Living has done the hard work of nurturing your plants through their most vulnerable stage. This is a fully rooted, vigorous live plant, not tiny plugs or starter trays. Each one arrives nursery-fresh, with solid triangular stems & healthy foliage. You can pair your carex grass with companion plants we also offer, including Ferns, Hostas, Primroses, Anemone Fantasy, Rudbeckia, Echinacea, Coreopsis & Allium for texture, colour & year-round appeal.
• EASY TO CARE FOR, PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS – Carex ornamental grasses are low-maintenance, evergreen perennials that thrive with minimal effort. Suitable for full sun to partial shade, they prefer moist but well-drained soil & tolerate a wide range of conditions once established. No heavy feeding or pruning is required—just trim back old or tired foliage in late winter or early spring to refresh their form. They provide year-round texture & structure, making them ideal for beginner gardeners.
• PLASTIC-FREE, GIFT-READY PACKAGING – We plant to reconnect with nature. But when plants arrive wrapped in plastic & non-recyclable waste, that intention fractures. It feels wrong to nurture life while harming the very environment it depends on. That’s why Verdant Living has chosen a different path. Straight from our nursery, we deliver our plants fresh & healthy in plastic-free, giftable packaging–just as nature intended. A thoughtful choice for you, your garden & the people you share it with.
