Vermiculite Fine 1mm Horticultural grade. It is a lightweight, absorbent brown-gold flakes. Vermiculite can absorb three or four times its weight in water and also attracts various plant nutrients such as potassium, magnesium and calcium. Add vermiculite to soil for conditioning and lightening either alone or in conjunction with peat or compost. This will accelerate the growth and promote anchorage for tender young root systems. Application Rates: Use 1/3 to 1/2 vermiculite in your potting soil for containers or when building your raised beds.
