- BOLD BLUE STAR SHAPED FLOWERS: Borage, Borago officinalis, produces striking indigo blue, star shaped flowers on big, hairy leaves, and is one of the most reliable bee plants a gardener can grow, a hardy annual species. This fast growing annual needs full sun and asks very little in return. It typically reaches a mature height of 60 to 90cm.
- RIP, SCATTER, WILD: our seeds follow one simple rule. Clear the ground of weeds and debris, rake it lightly, scatter the seed evenly, press it into the soil and let nature do the rest. Borage grows quickly with minimal care, and its cucumber flavoured flowers can be used fresh in salads and drinks. Avoid feeding the soil, since rich, fertile ground favours grass and weeds over wildflowers, so ordinary or even poor soil usually gives the better display.
- A GENEROUS 4G PACKET, ONE FULL SEASON OF COLOUR: this pack contains 4g of pure Borage seed with no filler added. Sow from March to May in full sun, give it room to spread, and expect star shaped blue flowers from June right through to September. Water lightly during germination, then rely mainly on rainfall once established.
