Roses should be planted securely to prevent wind damage to the roots. Apply a balanced fertilizer every 3-4 weeks during spring and summer, and cover the roses with a protective mulch in winter. Pruning is possible, removing dead or broken branches. If there is little frost, it is best to plant roses in winter or early spring. Preparation for planting bare-root roses: Soak bare-root roses in a bucket of water for 1 hour to 24 hours (longer in spring). Then, dig a hole large enough to accommodate the rose roots when fully extended. Distribute the rose roots evenly around the hole and add a small amount of fine soil mixed with bone meal. Cover the rose roots with the remaining soil and tamp it down firmly. The planting depth of the rose is between 10-20 cm, or the same depth as the rose in the pot.
