Planting method: Planting time: Hostas are best planted in spring or autumn. These two seasons have milder climates, with moderate temperature and humidity, conducive to the growth and rooting of hostas. Hostas prefer fertile, loose, well-drained soil. Spacing can be controlled at around 20 - 30 cm apart, with rows spaced about 30 - 40 cm apart. Then fill with an appropriate amount of soil, planting the hosta bulbs or seedlings in the pot, filling the soil to about 2 - 3 cm from the edge of the pot, and gently compacting the soil. During the growth period, hostas require regular fertilisation to provide ample nutrients.
