About this item
- CASHMERE AND MERINO, FINGERING WEIGHT: 80% extrafine virgin merino wool, 20% cashmere, spun in Italy by Lana Gatto. Each skein 1.76 oz (50 g), 219 yds (200 m), US 2.5-4 (3-3.5 mm) needles or hook. This pack: 5 skeins, 8.8 oz, 1,095 yds.
- THE SOFTEST YARN IN THE RANGE: cashmere adds a softness and warmth that merino alone cannot give; extrafine merino keeps the yarn elastic and hard-wearing. It does not itch, ideal for scarves, sweaters and baby knits.
- LIGHT AND WARM: 219 yds per 1.76 oz give a fine, light fabric with a beautiful drape that is still very warm. The classic weight for shawls, lightweight sweaters, cardigans, socks and heirloom baby garments.
- SHRINK-RESISTANT, EASY CARE: treated to resist shrinking. Hand wash in lukewarm water, dry flat, do not tumble dry, iron on low. Same color and same dye lot in every pack.
- MADE IN ITALY: Lana Gatto spins its yarn in Tollegno, near Biella, the heart of the Italian wool industry. VIP is its cashmere blend, loved by Italian knitters for gifts and special pieces, now stocked in the USA.

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
