Product description
The GripGrab AquaShield 2 Waterproof Road Shoe Covers are an evolution of the renowned GripGrab AquaShield, with a stronger construction and increased ease of use. The zipperless design and anatomic cut offer a high level of comfort and waterproofing. The fabric's stretch allows you to adjust the shoe cover on your leg before putting on your shoes. The cuff should sit just underneath the calf muscle for optimal leg and sock protection. You can then put your shoes on and stretch the cover over them, securing them with the hook and loop closure under the sole. The design of these road shoe covers combines PU-coated polyester and waterproof neoprene. The opening in the base is specifically developed for large road cleats. The edge of the neoprene has a new IntelliSeal silicone edge to create a seal around the base to stop water ingress. The toe area has a new rubber insert to protect from damage when stopping and walking. The GripGrab AquaShield 2 Waterproof Road Shoe Covers are high-performance, close-fitting cycling shoe covers optimised for waterproofness and durability while remaining easy to use and comfortable. Pro tip: Remember to seal the ventilation holes included in the soles of many road cycling shoes to avoid getting wet feet from water penetrating from under the soles. You can do so by removing the inner sole of your shoes, tape the holes inside, and put the sole in place again. Don't let the weather stop you from cycling!
