- SOW: February to July, FLOWERS: July to October, HEIGHT: 45cm, SPREAD: 30cm, SEEDS: 200 Approx.
- FOR OUTDOOR SOWING: WHEN - April to July. WHERE – In a prepared seed bed. HOW - Sow thinly in rows 20cm apart. Cover lightly with fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. CARE - When large enough thin to 10cm apart. Transplant 20cm apart in flowering position in autumn. FLOWERS – July to October, the following year.
- FOR INDOOR SOWING: WHEN - February to April. WHERE – In trays of seed compost. HOW - Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover tray with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20℃. Seedlings appear 14-28 days. CARE - Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Stand outside for a few days late May (avoid frost). Transplant 20cm apart in flowering position. FLOWERS – August to October, the same year.
- TIP: Remove dead flower heads to prolong flowering.
