• Scuba is a synthetic, double-knit fabric made from spandex and polyester, resembling a lighter version of neoprene. It feels smooth and heavy yet stretchy, making it versatile for various garments. Scuba is structured and bouncy, ideal for creating and holding shapes. It also comes in textured versions like scuba crepe and suede scuba, which have a crepe-like or suede-like appearance on one side.
• This is a lovely medium weight fabric ideal for dressmaking. This fabric is available in a great variety of colours and weighs approximately 260 grams per square metre.
• Suggested Washing Instructions: 40 degrees. Please allow 10% shrinkage for all fabrics to be on the safe side and always test a sample first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics.
• Approx Width: 160cm / 64" - Our fabrics are cut off the roll and will always be sent in one continuous length. If for any reason we cannot send your fabric in one piece we will contact you to discuss the options.
• For all fabrics we advise washing before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods) to remove any shrinkage
