• Fleece is a soft fabric with a pile structure, meaning its surface threads stand apart from the base, giving it a distinct texture. Known for its moisture-wicking and insulating properties, it’s ideal for winter and athletic wear. Despite its warmth, fleece remains light due to its thin yarn. Variations include polar fleece, sherpa fleece, and plush fleece, ranging from soft and light to thick and fluffy for cold conditions.
• This is a lovely medium weight fabric ideal for dressmaking. This fabric is available in a great variety of colours and weighs approximately 280 grams per square metre.
• Suggested Washing Instructions: 40 degrees. Please allow 10% shrinkage for all fabrics to be on the safe side and always test a sample first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics.
• Approx Width: 150cm / 60" - Our fabrics are cut off the roll and will always be sent in one continuous length. If for any reason we cannot send your fabric in one piece we will contact you to discuss the options.
• For all fabrics we advise washing before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods) to remove any shrinkage
