• Lining fabric refers to materials used inside garments to provide a polished finish, add body, weight, warmth, and improve structure. It helps garments slide on easily and adds opacity to sheer fabrics. Linings come in woven and knit varieties, both stretch and non-stretch, to match outer fabrics. High-quality linings are often labeled "anti-static," preventing static buildup between layers for a smoother, more comfortable wear.
• This is a lovely light weight fabric ideal for dressmaking. This fabric is available in a great variety of colours and weighs approximately 50 grams per square metre.
• Suggested Washing Instructions: 40 degrees. Please allow 10% shrinkage for all fabrics to be on the safe side and always test a sample first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics.
• Approx Width: 160cm / 64" - Our fabrics are cut off the roll and will always be sent in one continuous length. If for any reason we cannot send your fabric in one piece we will contact you to discuss the options.
• For all fabrics we advise washing before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods) to remove any shrinkage

Its anti static properties means that it will prevent your handmade garments from riding up the body as you walk or move. This fabric lining is specific. Ally design to be used as a lining fabric as it is beautifully smooth to the touch, soft, pliable, and light enough in weight not to interfere in any way with the hang of the garment fabric. It is easy to sew, non stretch, machine washable and available in a huge colour range. All fabric is cut from the roll and available to order by the metre.
