Shires Highlander Plus 200 Turnout Rug Neck Cover

• Warm, protective neck coverage for colder conditions: The Highlander Plus 200g Neck Cover features 200g polyfill insulation, providing enhanced warmth to help keep horses comfortable during cooler field days and colder nights. It offers an effective way to increase protection without changing the entire rug.
• Durable ripstop construction for long-lasting use: Made from robust ShireTex 1200 denier ripstop fabric, the neck cover delivers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio while helping prevent small tears from spreading. This durable design ensures reliable performance in everyday turnout environments.
• Waterproof and breathable comfort: The PFC-free outer with taped seams provides 3000mm waterproof protection and 3000g/m² breathability, helping to keep the horse dry while allowing moisture and excess heat to escape. The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish encourages water to bead and run off the surface, preventing saturation.
• Quick and secure attachment system: Designed for compatibility with Highlander Plus rugs, the neck cover attaches using touch-close loops secured to D-rings on the rug and fastens around the neck with quick-fit touch-close straps. This ensures a secure, adjustable fit while making attachment and removal fast and straightforward.
• Practical and easy to maintain: Combining warmth, weather protection, and flexibility, the neck cover is ideal for adapting turnout rugs to changing temperatures. It is also machine washable, making it easy to clean and maintain for regular use throughout the season.
