We recommend using 250ml of water per 10g of powdered snow to create a bank of snow ideal for windowsills, displays, Nativity scenes, or at the base of Christmas trees. You can also sprinkle the fake snow powder over Christmas trees for a flocked effect, and use it to replicate Santa’s boot prints to craft clues young children will delight in following. The artificial snow powder is non-toxic, and it is made using sodium polyacrylate. The sodium polyacrylate absorbs many times its own weight in water, transforming from slight powder to a bank of fluffy snowfall. As well as decoration, the white snow powder can be transformed into DIY winter slime! Add more water to go from snow to sticky slime, and adjust the water quantity to your preference for your ideal consistency. We advise against using the snow powder directly on carpets or wooden floorboards, as the instant snow powder does occasionally stain.
