If you need to create a new outlet location, simply drill a hole and attach the adapter for a custom fit. This adapter features both outside and inside threading for added flexibility. The outside thread measures 1", while the inside thread is ¾", ensuring compatibility with a variety of fittings and applications. Our anti-leak technology provides peace of mind, and each kit includes a roll of PTFE tape to guarantee a leak-free installation that you can trust. Hole Size Requirements: To install the 1" BSP Adapter, drill a hole with a diameter of 33.3mm. Installation Steps: Check Compatibility: Locate the pre-drilled hole in your tank to see if the adapter is compatible. If not, drill a new hole in your desired location. Prepare the Adapter: Remove the nut from the adapter and leave one rubber washer on the threaded end. Insert the Adapter: Place the adapter into the hole you created in step 1. Secure the Inside Washer: Position the second rubber washer on the thread inside the tank and screw the nut back on. Tighten by hand; no tools are required. Both washers should prevent any leaks. Attach Your Tap: Connect your tap to the newly fitted female outlet on your tank. Note that due to the internal washer, you may need to apply some force to ensure proper alignment of the threads.
