- The GX160 pull start assembly weighs 441 grams (considerably heavier than low-cost alternatives). It is of red colour and features an iron rod pawl. It comes with an OEM nylon 66 solid braided rope that is compatible with Honda pull cord, having a diameter of 4.0mm. The diameter of the ratchet and the plastic housing is 54mm/75mm. The centre-to-centre distance of the bolt holes is 139mm (in a triangle pattern) and 160mm (hole-to-hole centre through the starter centre point).
- Aftermarket standard for Honda GX160 pull start assembly. Part numbers: 28400-ZH8-023YA, 28400-Z0T-003ZB, 28400-ZH8-023ZB, 28400-ZH8-023ZG, 28400-Z4M-305ZB, 28400-Z0T-003ZB (repeated), 28400-ZH8-033ZG, and 28400-Z0T-003ZA.
