The Shetland-miniature-donkey-Section A polar fleece rug with tail flap is an extremely versatile rug made from high quality 400gsm polar fleece fabric. It has many possibilities for use such as for travelling, at competitions, as a light stable rug or after exercise/bathing it can be used as a wicking/cooler rug as well as an extra layer for warmth. The rug has double adjustable surcingle straps with rubber washers to help stop them unfastening. There is a tail flap which is particularly useful for those who have a tendency to rub their tails when stabled or travelling and a fillet string helps to keep the back end of the rug in place. There is soft nylon lining at the chest to help prevent rubbing and friction. The rug has a wither protector fitted for the comfort of the pony and shoulder gussets which allows freer movement. At the chest there are double adjustable chest straps with D rings and quick release clips – once the straps are adjusted for the size of the pony it makes fastening at the chest quick and easy as just two clips to attach. This adjustment also means the rugs can be adjusted to fit a wide range of builds. There are matching fleece wraps listed separately (not included with the rug).
