Pond Liner with 25 Year Guarantee. We have been developing our PondKraft Pond Liners for over 20 years and improved our original pond lining fabric to produce todays top quality pond liner. PondKraft pond liners are flexible, strong and durable with a strength enhancing UV stabilised and rot resistant coating on each side of the pond liner. This liner is strong and durable with a strength enhancing, UV stabilised and rot resistant coating on each side of the liner. It comes in Black/Brown reversible finish, and is constructed of tri-laminate LDPE layers that are bonded together. The liner is approximately 0.35mm thick with a minimum weight of 200 grammes per square metre. It is flexible and easily shaped into the corners of your pond by making a few small folds; most thicker liners do not allow this flexibility. This is an excellent substitute for other heavyweight liners, such as Butyl and PVC, at much better value. From our years of experience, we know all of our liners perform best when laid with an aquatic underlay (our guarantee in fact requires that the liner is laid with one) and for particularly stony ground we recommend you lay an inch of sand before the underlay to prevent sharp stones coming through. To calculate the size of liner and underlay you need:Add twice the maximum depth of the pond to both the length and width - then add some overlap, we suggest 1 metre (50cm on either side).E.g. if your pond is 4 metres by 3 metres and 2 metre deep: Length = 4 (L) + 2 (D) + 2 (D) + 1 for overlap = 9m Width = 3 (W) + 2 (D) + 2 (D) + 1 for overlap = 8m
