Sparkling top quality pink crystal glass gravel in a chunky size, suitable loose laid as a memorial top dressing, and also used underlit for window dispalys, photoshoots and film sets. Product Description : Top quality pretty pink glass chippings that have been crushed and tumbled. The glass comes as a mix of sizes from approximately 10mm to 20mm. This chunky glass tends to have a deeper colour than the smaller 9 to 12mm size Being a glass product the light pink colour will not lose its sparkle, however, we have noted that when exposed to sunlight the colour will develop into a deeper apricot pink. Application: Memorial Top Dressing: Many clients purchase this product to top dress a loved ones grave. Generally three packs will be required to cover a traditional kerb set, whilst a single pack will probably be adequate for either topping up an existing covering, or for a modern memorial. Staging and Promotion: Pink crystal glass provides for a sparkling chunky substrate which further benefits from being underlit for window displays, photoshoots and film sets. Exposed Concrete and Terrazzo: This product may be considered oversized for surface polishing in cement based and resin flooring, Whilst it has been used for this application generally the 9-12mm graded material may be more suitable. Home and Garden: Use as a decorative mulch plant topping both internally and externally. As glass is inert it can be used in or near to stocked ponds, and will not alter the pH of soils, and just like stained glass windows, the colour will not fade. When used as a garden mulch, to increase the service life of the glass and help prevent weed growth we would recommend the use of a weed suppressant membrane between the soil or sub base and the glass.
