Shires Highlander Plus 50 Turnout Rug

• Durable turnout rug with lightweight warmth: The Highlander Plus 50g Turnout Rug is constructed from robust ShireTex 1200 denier ripstop fabric, delivering an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and outstanding resistance to wear and tear. The addition of 50g polyfill insulation provides light warmth, making it ideal for temperate weather conditions.
• Waterproof and breathable for changing conditions: Featuring a PFC-free waterproof outer with taped seams, the rug offers waterproof protection up to 3000mm while maintaining a 3000g/m² breathability rating. This combination helps keep horses dry from rain while allowing excess heat and moisture to escape.
• Designed for comfort and freedom of movement: A fully lined interior enhances comfort and helps protect the coat, while deep shoulder gussets enable unrestricted movement in the field. The lightweight insulation also helps manage moisture build-up while providing gentle warmth.
• Secure, adjustable fit with practical features: The rug includes adjustable clip chest straps for quick and easy fastening, adjustable cross surcingles for stability, a removable fillet strap, integrated leg strap loops, and a large pleated tail flap. These features work together to ensure a secure and comfortable fit during turnout.
• Versatile and easy to maintain: Reflective detailing improves visibility in low-light conditions, and the rug is machine washable for convenient care. It is also WarmaRug Compatible, allowing warmth levels to be increased with optional 100g or 200g liners, extending its usability throughout the seasons.
