You will receive it ready to use; you only need to wash it with mild dish soap and warm water and dry completely with a lint-free cloth or kitchen paper. It is possible that some foods may stick during the first few uses; use a little more oil until the seasoning is strong and established.
- EASY MAINTENANCE: After washing and drying thoroughly, apply a thin layer of vegetable oil to the inside and the rim of the utensil, and it's ready to store. You can use sunflower, flaxseed, coconut, canola, avocado oil... avoid olive oil as it can give a sticky feel. To increase the non-stick patina, after cleaning and oiling, heat the skillet over medium-high heat until smoke appears, apply a little more oil distributing with kitchen paper, and let it cool before storing.
