If you've just filled your spa, give it a shock dose of chlorine: 50mg/l (ppm) for an hour or 20mg/l (ppm) for two hours. 3. If your water's warmer than 20°C, go ahead and sprinkle these granules straight in. If it's cooler, dissolve them first in a clean plastic container, then add the solution while your pumps are running. 4. Add more granules if needed to get your levels right. 5.
