The more threads a screw has, the greater the tensile and compressive forces that can be absorbed by these screws. Useful especially in structural timber construction, where fully threaded screws are used for heavy-duty wood connections without additional fittings. Our countersunk screws are designed with a 90° MULTI head. With its polygon underside ("pockets"), the countersunk head milles its appropriate recess in the wood itself and then closes flush with the surface - without pre-drilling or countersinking the screw hole. When placed on metal, the screw is braked and overtightening is prevented. The star-shaped, vertically arranged drive surfaces of the T-STAR plus power grip make it easier to set the tool and ensure a firm hold. With this form of force attack, no cam-out effect occurs at all, protecting both the tool and the screw. The T-STAR plus force application additionally has a small recess in the screw head below the drive surfaces, into which the matching T-STAR plus bit with guide pins can be inserted exactly. This T-Star plus connection ensures optimal power transmission, long service life of the T-Star plus bits and a perfect fit. Even processing of SPAX overhead is possible without any problems.
