About this item
- *Wood Mode With ABCD Calibration Scales*---: This Moisture Meter Features a Dedicated WOOD Button With Four Built-In Calibration Scales (A, B, C, D). A and B Are for Hardwoods, While C and D Are for Softwoods, So You Can Match the Scale to Different Wood Species. This Means You Get Reliable Moisture Readings Whether You're Working With Oak Flooring or Pine Timber, Helping Prevent Warping or Rot. The Meter Measures From 4% to 75%
- *Dual Paper & Wall Modes for Multi-Material Use*---: The PAPER/WALL Button Lets You Switch Between Paper Mode and Wall Mode. Paper Mode Is Designed for Cardboard, Carton and Paper, While Wall Mode Works on Plasterboard, Wallboard and Flooring. As a Result, One Damp Detector Tool Covers Your Workshop Packaging Checks, Loft Insulation Damp Tests, and Renovation Moisture Checks on Plaster. The Paper Range Is 4–90%, and the Wall Range Is 0.2–24%
- *Colour Backlight & Audible Alert for Instant Damp Assessment*---: This Damp Meter Has a Three-Colour Backlight (Green, Orange, Red) Plus a Sound Alert. Green Means Low Moisture, Orange Medium, and Red High. You Don't Need to Interpret Numbers – You Can See and Hear the Moisture Level Instantly. This Helps You Catch High Damp in Timber or Walls Before It Leads to Rot or Damage
- *10mm Pin Depth for Reliable Sub-Surface Readings*---: The Damp Reader Comes With Integrated 10mm Electrode Pins. They Measure Moisture Below the Surface, Not Just on Top. With ±0.5% Accuracy and 0.1% Resolution, This Means You Can Detect Hidden Damp Inside Thicker Timber, Plasterboard or Flooring Materials. It Uses a Resistance-Type Principle, Which Is the Standard Method for Wood, Paper and Building Materials
- *Compact Design With Auto Power-Off for Everyday Use*---: The Housing Measures 145×67×32mm and Runs on Two AAA Batteries (Included). It Automatically Shuts Off After About 5 Minutes to Save Battery Life. This Moisture Tester Is Ready to Use Straight Out of the Box, and Small Enough to Keep in a Tool Belt or Van Glovebox. The Body Is Made From ABS Plastic and Comes With an English Manual

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
