1.5mm Twin and Earth T&E Electric Cable Wire | Domestic Lighting Cable 1.5mm Twin and Earth Cable available in various lengths Twin and Earth Electrical Cable is the most common cable used for domestic wiring. This cable has met all the industry and governmental safety guidelines and standards for cables, including the BS 6004:2012 standard. It is BASEC Approved. It is UKAS Certified. It is CE Marked. Each cable is available in various predefined lengths. Cable Construction The live and neutral are individually insulated and the earth is bare. The Live and Neutral are insulated in blue/brown coloured PVC insulation. The overall bundle of wires is insulated in a grey PVC outer casing. The 1.5mm cables are constructed of stranded copper conductive wires. Common Cable Uses 1.0mm is most commonly used for Lighting. Safety information This cable is suitable for indoor use only.
